Developmental Pediatrics

My background is developmental pediatrics. I practice from both developmental impact and normative developmental models with children and families. My studies of childhood resiliency and coping, combined with Mel Levine MD training and decades of working with children, have steadily supported a paradigm shift away from child pathology and heavy-handed medication management, and have reinforced my long-held developmental perspectives.

I think the most important work to be done with a child, adolescent and young adult is to un-telescope their normal development and talents.
